USA Geography Tutor is an educational game, part of a series of geography games, that can be really helpful to those who want to learn the names and locations of the 48 states of the USA. The program is very straightforward, and features two simple games which are extremely easy to play.
It is divided into three sections, one of which will be the preliminary step before starting to play. This first section, called Explore the USA, is a sort of exploration map with which you can start identifying and locating each of the 48 states. Once you feel ready, you can start challenging your memory skills with any of the two games available. In the first game, called Find States, you will see one state’s name highlighted on the right side panel. What you have to do, is find and click this state on the map. The other game follows a similar procedure, but instead, you have to identify the highlighted state on the map by clicking on its corresponding name in the right-panel list. Despite the simplicity of the games, they are a really effective method to learn quickly. The program is only 500KB in size, safe to install, and can be freely downloaded from the developers’ site.
